Hopefully I will remember all we did over the Christmas break...
Kevin's brother David and his wife and their daughters came for Christmas this year. What joy it was to have kids around on Christmas day! They came in late on Saturday night, so we got up Sunday and went to church. The Christmas program was our ward choir for the most part. I (Jennifer) sang in the choir and in an octet number. That night we decided to go to temple square and see the lights. They were beautiful! There were a lot of people that had the same idea so it was really crowded. Then on Christmas eve, we did a little shopping and went bowling. That was fun... even Kevin's mom was bowling with us! After bowling we went home and ate some dinner then on to the Christmas eve traditions. We exchanged Christmas eve presents and got our PJ's.
Christmas morning we got up pretty early, 6:15am, and got ready for Christmas morning. We turned on the fire and all the Christmas lights. Kevin's sister Katie and her husband Marc came out that morning to join us all. What fun and chaos commenced! The kids had so much fun with their presents. I gave Kevin and elliptical and he gave me a computer! Unfortunatly Kevin had to go to work at 10am, so we wrapped up the morning so he could get ready. When Kevin got home we had the traditional ham dinner with everyone.
The next day, my birthday, Kevin went to work, David and the girls went to Kevin's parents house, so Tiffany and I went shopping all day, oh what fun! We went to the Cheesecake factory for lunch and did some more shopping. Then we met up with everyone in Bountiful at the Mandrine for dinner, good chinese food! After dinner we came back to our house and opened presents and had ice cream cake!
Thursday David and Tiffany went home and we had to get back to reality... but it sure was a fun week!
