Update...

I guess I'm not that great at keeping up with the blogging... With working so much lately, when I get home getting on the computer is one of the last things I want to do... Anyhow, I will try to remember what has gone on in our lives.
My mom came for a visit at the end of March. She stayed with my grandma for the most part but we were able to see her a couple of times. Then she and my grandma spent the night on Friday night and we played games. On Saturday we went shopping and of course, had to make the stop at Wienerschnitzel to pick up some goodies for my dad's Easter basket... Boy were they smelly! I'm sure everyone on the plane with my mom was hating that.
For Easter we went to Kevin's sister's house and had a family dinner with them and his parents and some of his sister's in-laws. For the most part it was a pretty mellow Easter. Kevin got a second guitar and a new game for the Guitar Hero playstation games. So we took that with us and everyone had a fun time with it. He also got his favorite movie in his basket- Cars! I can't tell you how many times we've watched it...
In April Kevin's schedule at work and at school has changed. So he now has Thursday and Friday off from both. This week he was pretty excited to be able to mow the lawn and fix the roof (big wind storm this winter). We can finally see our lawn! There has been so much snow this winter, we hope it is not coming back, but we can't be too sure.
We actually had a busy weekend this weekend. Kevin's brother and his wife and their three oldest daughters went on vacation. The youngest daughter is staying with grandma and grandpa for a couple of weeks. Grandma came down with a cold so we had Kylie spend the night with us on Friday. Then also on Friday night, we have a standing game night the first Friday of every month, a bunch of people came over for game night. We didn't think anyone was coming, but it is always fun to have a housefull! On Saturday we watched conference in the morning and ran errands. Saturday night our friends Scott and Amy and their four kids came over and we had a barbeque and watched a movie, then they all spent the night. What a fun weekend!
Life just wouldn't be the same without family and friends!
